ABC Plastics

Bright colorful plastics used in ABC Golf DiscsABC Discs plastics are among the best in disc golf. They were developed by founder Dan Pastore to give players consistent feel, dependable grip, and long-lasting performance. Each blend was designed with a clear purpose—whether for everyday rounds, tournament play, or maximum durability.

Platinum Plastic

Platinum was ABC’s premium blend. It offered a balanced mix of grip and durability, with a smooth texture that performed well in both warm and cold conditions. Platinum plastic maintained flight characteristics over time, making it ideal for players who wanted reliability round after round.

Gold Plastic

Gold plastic featured a slightly firmer feel and higher durability than Platinum. Its stiffness provided extra stability and dependable flight in a variety of throwing conditions. Players often chose Gold plastic for control drivers and fairway discs where consistency was key.

Specialty & Limited Plastics

Over the years, ABC also produced small runs of unique plastics including Glow, Metallic, and Translucent blends. These special editions often carried the same base material as Platinum or Gold, but with added visual or performance elements like glow pigments, color swirls, or sparkles.

Continuing Dan’s Vision

Today, ABC Discs works with Zing Polymer Formations—the same molding partner that helped Dan produce his original discs. Together, we’re keeping the same plastics alive, focused on the qualities Dan valued most: quality, grip, and consistency.

Each ABC disc you throw reflects that same commitment to craftsmanship and community that Dan Pastore built into the brand from day one.
